3.9  My bedroom

     My bedroom is nice and clean. There is a desk together with a chair. When nights spread around, I usually finish tasks on it. My bed is in the middle of the room, I like the dolls very much. That is why I always receive them as birthday presents.   The one I like best is sitting on the pillow. She often falls asleep with me. Sometimes she talks with me in my dream. The desk next to the bed is new, which my father bought last month. I always keep my bedroom clean and tidy. It is very important to a girl, I think.This is my room which bringing me harmony and warm.  

                     3.10   A sitting room

  Sitting room is owned by all of the families. But I always considered my sitting room to be the best. Because it is designed all by myself, I was satisfied with it. I choose the sofa of nature style. By putting them near the window, I could relax myself together with enjoy the picturesque scene. The dining table is behind the sofa. I have my tea and cookies around it with my parents. We chat and talk happily. The time flies quickly. The beam become dim, it is the time to count all the things I have finished today. It is so relax and happy that I could hardly find anything worth to remember or write, as a teacher, we have mass things to do everyday, except Sunday, I want to keep quiet and enjoy the life of loose. As the matter of fact, it is boring and meaningless, life must be colorful and meaningful.

                    3.11   In the kitchen

  Mummy always tells me that I am too young to enter it. Now she is not at home. I enter into it to have a look. Touching here and there, I feel very interesting, the pan and the bowl are in strange order. I open all the drawers here. There are bottles of soy-sauce and vinegar, etc. The basin is high above. After times of jumping, I could at last know the things inside, a lot of unwashed plates, bowls and a pan, too. An idea appeared in my mind, I will wash them for  mummy, she must be very happy to see it. I get the rag and wash the plates, I am so happy to see all of these finished. Scan over myself, I could not hold my laugh, all the clothes are wet, and full of oil spots. After changing my clothes, I sit on the sofa, waiting for mummy’s return. She has got a full surprise! She praises me so much that I am sure, it is a really good idea.

                    3.12  Walking in the park

  After having supper, Mr. Smith goes to walk with an umbrella to a park near his home. It has rained for an hour, so the air is clean, he takes a deep breath. Having seen a seat near the parterre, he walks straight towards there. Suddenly, a piece of paper attracts him:” What’s that?” He walks near it, that’s ten yuan! It is lying between the flowers, he looked around for the owner. But there isn’t anyone here. After a short hesitation, he goes into the flowerbed, pick the money from the flowers. It is true! He has got ten yuan here! He is satisfied with the good luck. “ You! Come back!” A shout comes from his back, he looks behind, a policeman is standing there, looking at him angrily. Mr. Smith feels rather strange. After coming out, he looks according to the policeman’s instruction, a board with” PLWASE KEEP OFF THE GRASS  FINE ￥10”.Astonished by it, he gives the money which he has just got, scratch the receipt, he ask himself “Good luck or Bad luck?”

3.13  Making a Brithday Card

     When is your mother’s birthday? What do you want to give her on her birthday? Sending her a birthday card is a good idea. Now, let me teach you how to make a birthday card by yourself . You should prepare these things: a piece of paper ,a ruler and some colour pencils. First, take a piece of paper, fold it in half. Then, draw a picture on the card and color it beautiful. At the end, write a message inside the card. Look, a nice birthday card is finished. I belive, when your mother receives such a beautiful card, she will be very excited.

                3.14    Sports Day

    It was Sports Day yesterday. All the students were very excited. Su Hai and Su Yang were watching a running race.

  Mr Hu stood at the starting line. All the runners got ready to run.

  “Ready? Go!” Mr Hu shouted, and the boys started to run. Of course, everyone began to shout very loudly.

  “Come on!” they shouted.

  On the first lap, the boy in No.3 was in front, he ran very fast. At the end of the second lap, the boy in No.17 ran faster and faster, he began to catch up with very loudly. Finally, the boy in No.17 was first past the finishing line. He was the winner! “Well done!” his classmates all ran to him and congratulated him.

             3.15  Catching the cricket

    Today is Sunday, the sun is shiningl, Tom and Mike are twin brothers, they’re very excited today, because their parents will take them out. They get to a big park, there are little hills, many trees and green grass . The most important thing is that, they can catch the crickets here, it’s really interesting. “Mike, let’s have a match. I’m sure I’ll catch more crickets than you.” Says Tom. “That’s great , let’s wait and see!” Mike answers. The two boys begin to find a cricket jump out, Mike hands out quickly, but the cricket jumps so far, Mike fails. “Oh , what a pity!” They all fell sad.

              3.16  A Doctor’s Room

    Mr Brown is an old doctor, he has worked in the Doctor’s Room for more than 30 years. These days, Mr Brown has to work till late at night. Because of the bad weather, many people get ill.

    It’s ten now, the last patient gets out of the room, Doctor Brown takes out his notebook, he is writing something on it . A young nurse comes in and gives him a cup of coffee: “ Mr Brown , it’s time to go home now. You should also take care of yourself. Don’t be too tired.” “Thank you” Doctor Brown stands up, “It’s time to  go home and have a good rest now”

                  3.17      Seeing a doctor

There are two persons in the picture--a woman and a doctor. They are in doctor's room. There are  many applicants on the desk. So the doctor begins to ask the woman: "What's wrong with you?" The woman says: "I feel not so good. I have got a headache and a bad cold." The doctor says :"Open your mouth and say ahh" The woman follows the doctor's saying . "Oh ,you must say in bed two days ,have a lot of rest and drink a lot of water." The woman knocks her head and thanks for the doctor. Then the doctor gives her some medicine and says to her:" Don't worry ,you will be better soon."

From this picture we can see that this doctor is very careful. He cares the patient's thinking and situation. And try his best to cure them. We can learn a lot from him.

                3.18      Swimming

There are two boys in the picture. What a fine day today!

The trees are growing well. The sunshine is bright.I t is a green and yellow world . But It is also a hot day. How can they make themselves cool?

One boy has a good idea ,he wants to swim in the swimming pool. He thinks that swimming can make them stronger too. Now he is swimming in the swimming pool like a fish. we can see that he is good at swimming. He has swimmed two circles.

The other boy can not swim, so he decides to read the magazine near the swimming pool. The big umbrella can help him feel a little cool, and there is a glass of juice near him. It is also a good way to relax himself.

Two clever boys are having a good time now.

3.19         Catching butterflies

There are two girls in the picture. They are twins --Su Hai and Su Yang.Today is Sunday morning.They walk to the park.  What a beautiful scene in the park! The colourful flowers are everywhere.The green  grass and the little trees make the flowers more and more beautiful. They see many different kinds of butterflies flying here and there. So Su yang says: “It's time for us to catch butterflies.Let's dance with them." Su Hai says:"Great!Hurray.Let's compete who can get more butterflies."Now they are running and jumping here and there like two dancing birds. But they have a date that after the competition,they will let the butterflies go on flying anywhere."I think they are all winners.Because they have a good sense and they all feel happy now.

3.20     Reading on the sea

Today is Sunday. It's a sunny day, but Mike feels very tired in the morning, he wants to relax himself, so he decides to go to the beach. Before going there , he buys a hovercraft, some newspapers and an ice-cream .one hour later, he comes to the beach.

  First he take off his clothes and puts the hovercraft on the sea, then he lies on the hovercraft. Now he is reading newspapers and eatting an ice-cream. He feels very comfortable and homey. Suddenly he sees two seabirds in the sky. He is envious of them, because they can fly in the sky but he can't. He wants to make friends with them, so he tries to talk to them,he says:"hello,birds”.but It's disappointed that the seabirds say nothing and fly away.Then Mike falls asleep,he has a good dream that he becomes a seabird .half an hour later,he wakes up.He feels that the dream is very amusing.

  Mike goes back at four in the afternoon.

3.21   Playing  Football

     Today is Friday. The next lesson is PE.  Jim、Jack and his classmates come  to the playground. Five minutes later, the class begins. The PE teacher comes, he tells the students that they will have a football match in this class. Jim 、Jack are so happy, because they like playing football very much, they are both good at playing football.

   First the PE teacher divides them into two groups. One is red team, the other is green team. Jim is in the red team, Jack is in the green team. they are counterworker now. The PE teacher says:＂ the match begins＂. 

    Two teams don't have a goal. Now Jim and Jack are running very fast. The football is under the Jim's foot. Jack wants to catch up with Jim, in order to prevent him from having a goal. The PE teacher is running here and there, every student tries his best to get the ball. The match is very furious. Because every team wants to win this match. At last, the winner is the red team. but all the students are very happy. Who is the winner is not the most important .The most important is the process of victory.

   From this picture , we can learn that we should try our best to do everything. No matter the result will be.

              3.22    Growing flowers

       Today is Saturday. Liu Tao wants to grow some flowers in his garden. He is good at growing flowers. Wang Bing wants to learn to grow flowers.  so he goes to Liu Tao's home  to learn it.  

      There is a beautiful garden behind  Liu Tao's house. There is a big tree in the garden. Beside the tree , there is a flower bed, a few of green grass and flowers in it. .They are very beautiful. Liu Tao waters the tree and flowers every day. He looks after them carefully. Growing flowers is his hobby. every month he grows a kind of flower.  There are varied and motley flowers in the garden. 

     Before growing flowers. Liu Tao prepares some tools .For example:  a scoop、fertilizer and a bucket. Then they begins to grow flowers. Liu Tao teaches Gao Shan as he grows.  Gao Shan  couldn't help admiring Liu Tao .He says:" Wow! you are so wonderful."  Look! Gao Shan is raising his thumb to Liu Tao. At the same time, Gao Shan knows how to grow flowers. They are so happy.

      In my personal opinion, It's good to grow trees or flowers. Because It can beautify the environment. It also can make the air much more  fresh. The most important thing is that it is good for our health.

                 3.23 After work

Tim and Mary are colleagues. They work in a small restaurant. They are always busy in their working time. So they have no time to do some exercise. They really want to relax themselves and have a good rest. One day, they met in the restaurant after work. Tim looked very happy. He said that he wanted to do some sports after work and he invited Mary to join with him.   “Of cause” Mary said, but she had no idea about what should they do. Then, Tim said that he liked playing table tennis. And Mary is also good at it.  So they decided to play table tennis after work.

  It seems that work without rest will do harm to health. In other words, we had better take sufficient recreation to relax after work.

3.24 Doing housework

Today is Sunday. Mrs. Green will hold a birthday party in the evening. She has two daughters, Lily and Lucy. They are twin sisters. Now they are doing housework, they want to give a surprise to their mother. They are sweeping the floor and cleaning the windows .At this time, the telephone is ringing. It’s Nancy. She wants to invite them to see an interesting film. She said: “I am going to the cinema to see the Harry Potter and I have three tickets. Would you like to come?” “Oh, I’m sorry. Perhaps we have no time to see it, because today is my mother’s birthday. We will hold a birthday party tonight. Now I’m doing housework with my sister  I think my mother will be very happy when she came back.”

3.25  A camping trip

It was summer vocation . The First Primary School held a summer camping during summer vocation. Miss Li and their students did some preparations before this camping. Each student was very happy. They went camping near the hill. First they pitched the tent. Then students played games with their teacher. At noon, they all had a delicious lunch followed by a barbecue for dinner. At night, they had bonfire and danced. They didn’t sleep until 10:00 at night. But some of the boys were so noisy and other students couldn’t fall asleep. The next morning, everybody woke up very early. They went to the countryside and played together.  They had a lot fun at the summer camp. They were all looking forward going to the next camp.  

3.26 Picnic

This is a happy family obviously! It’s a sunny weekend and the weather is just perfectly warm for some outdoor time. Mr Green decided to have a picnic with his family. They went to a beautiful garden, there are many flowers and trees in the garden. It is a green garden. They filled their picnic basket with the freshest fruits that they could get from the market, favorite snacks, drinks etc. now they sit on the grassplot and take out everything, and everyone just get a place and sit down to relax! Today they decided on a new program, that is, to talk a funny story in turn and then they vote for the ‘best story’. So everyone is trying their best to make others laugh. While the family themselves have been enjoying a lot from the stories, the other picnic groups nearby are also affected by their laughter

3.27  A football team

This is our school football team. All the members are students from different classes who are really interested in football. They play and exercise a lot during their spare time .They have become excellent team players with time goes by. Due to their hard work together, they have won quite some honors. Now they’re going to take part into another match coming soon. In order to be well prepared to meet the challenge of a new rival, they’re discussing carefully on the role distribution,  After the new lineup is decided, they’re going to have more exercises to make sure that everyone is well aware of their roles and to bring into play their best. While they’ve been sort of seasoned players all through the matches in the past, I’m sure they will win a new honor in the next match. And I’m sure the audience will also be impressed again by the outstanding play of our school team. Let’s wish them good luck! Of course I think they must be the winners. Do you think so ?  

3.28Snowman

Today when I woke up, I found it was snowing out of the window. I was so happy to see that. I have waited for the snow for a long time. Because I love snow very much.  Every year I must make a snowman with my friends if it snows. So this year, I think I can’t miss this chance. So I get up quickly and called for my friends, I would ask them to make a snowman with me. We meet in a planting. When we were all there, we began to make the snowman, first we made two balls, the small one is the snowman’s head and the big one is its body. We use a wood as its hat, a carrot as its nose, some stones as its eyes and buttons on its clothes. At last, we drew a mouth for it with a stick. Our work was finished, a simple but beautiful snowman stand on the snow.

3.29    A Teddy Bear

A lovely teddy bear is in the picture. It lowers its head to imagine a funny story. It spreads the arms that want to hug its best friend. It’s true that teddy bear has many friends. Every child likes this fluffy doll.

   Nowadays, the teddy bear becomes more and more popular. Not only there are different kinds of patterns to choose from, but also we can give it as presents. Teddy bear stands for our heart. Its lovely appearance brings the spice of our life. It paints our space colorful. Also it’s very convenient to wash if it’s dirty. We can put it into the washing machine directly.

   If I choose, I don’t want a tiger. Tiger is too cruel. I don’t want a lion. Lion isn’t kind enough. I just want a teddy bear. Put a chain around its neck and lead it everywhere.
